Teesdale Players promise a real beauty of a panto

THE Cotherstone-based Teesdale Players have lined up Beauty and the Beast as this year’s pantomime.

The production takes place at Cotherstone Village Hall on the evenings of November 9, 10 and 11, with curtain up at 7.30pm.

There will also be a matinee performance on Saturday, November 11 at 2pm.

Tickets aret £6 for adults and £3.50 for children can be booked by calling 01833 650302.

The players’ Wayne Mann said: “It’s a tale as old as time; the much loved, classic story of Beauty and the Beast performed as only the Teesdale Players can with all your favourite characters.

“With and a large cast ranging in age from eight to 80 it is sure to be a sell-out.”

The show stars Anna O’Brien as Beauty and Russell Whiting as the beast.

As in previous years, profits from the production go to local charities and proceeds from interval refreshments to the Teesdale branch of Cancer Research UK.
