Search begins for Teesdale's best in business

THE annual hunt is on for Teesdale’s best in business.

Nominations for the seventh annual Teesdale Business Awards (TBA) are now open.

Organisers say the aim of the awards is to celebrate all that is good in Teesdale businesses and community groups.

The work of individuals as well as the collective efforts of organisations is celebrated in the awards, which are organised by Enterprise House, in Barnard Castle. Organiser Peter Dixon said: “We, at Enterprise House, are delighted to again organise these prestigious awards. Over seven years we have seen the Teesdale Business Awards attract more and more nominations year on year.

“There are two new awards this year that we believe reflect the current business climate – social responsibility and digital impact. We expect these categories to attract plenty of nominations from throughout Teesdale.”

The 12 award categories are intended to give any Teesdale businesses or social enterprises, if they have been successful in their own field of activity, the opportunity to be nominated by others or apply themselves.

All awards are independent of any particular industry sector. The ceremony will be held at The Witham on Thursday, February 15. Earlybird tickets priced £10 are available from the awards website or The Witham box office.

Organisations and individuals can be nominated at www.teesdalebusinessawards .co.uk. The deadline is noon on Monday, November 20.
