FOLK band Prelude, who have been delighting audiences for more than four decades, are heading to Gainford later this month.
The group, featuring husband and wife Brian and Irene Hume, will perform in the village hall on Saturday, November 25.
The show will help raise funds for St Mary’s Church in the village.
Fans will get the chance to hear classics such as their version of Neil Young’s After the Gold Rush, which became a top 30 hit in the mainstream charts in both the UK and USA, along with newer material.
The Humes have performed in Gainford before when their show was a sell-out.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and there will be a bar and raffle.
Tickets are £10 from Bill Goyder on 01325 730234 or Sue Taylor on 01325 730379.
