IT’S panto time in Dalton this week... oh yes it is!
The Dalton Amateur Dramatic Society will take to the village hall stage with their version of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Rehearsals for the group’s annual show began last October. There will be three performances – Thursday, March 2; Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4. The show starts at 7.30pm each night.
Directed by Alan Hutchinson, the play is set in the village of Soggy Bottom.
Jack is played by Ellie Braithwaite, with Hollie Braithwaite as Princess Lima.
Stephen Longstaff is the dame – Granny Fanny Bean – and Jasper, the village idiot, is played by David Wallis and there’s even Daisy the Cow, alias Alex and Ellie Law.
Some tickets for the show are still available priced £6 for adults and £4 for children. Contact Pam Braithwaite on 01748 825057 for more details.
