Sponsorship boost for Staindrop Young Farmers' Club

YOUNG farmers from Staindrop are stepping out in style thanks to sponsorship from Winston-based Agricore.
The company, which produces recycled gypsum for agricultural use has helped fund branded jackets and T-shirts to help Staindrop YFC attract new recruits and raise awareness of its activities.
Agricore will also sponsor the club’s annual rally day activities.
Ian Bainbridge, owner of Agricore, said: “Being from a farming family, it’s great to be able to help a local farming club.
“This is one way we can give something back to the community and support the younger farming generations.
“The young farmers are a great club to be involved with. It’s not all about farming, they do all sorts, from fundraising to working with their local communities. The club also helps members to develop skills and meet others from a similar background. It’s extremely valuable for our local farming community.”
Matthew Bainbridge, one of the organisers of Staindrop YFC, added: “The club is extremely grateful for the help from Agricore.
“It’s great when we receive support such as this from local companies as it helps to boost awareness of our club and increase members.”
