Saturday sport – six of the best for Glaxo Rangers

Adam Lee-Shield was among the Glaxo scorers
Glaxo Rangers FC arrested a run of four games without a win in fine style.
The game was one of only two Crook and District League matches to take place this afternoon and despite the frost, the pitch was still quite heavy.
Glaxo took a two-goal lead in the first five minutes and were always ahead, although visitors Ferryhill kept pegging their hosts back.
It was only in the last ten minutes that Glaxo pulled away to record a 6-3 win.
Weather permitting, Sunday's fixtures in the Wear Valley league will see Gainford visit Willington Queen's Head, while Toft Hill are at Kirk Merrington Half Moon.
Barnard Castle FC are without a game this week.
