Nominations sought for sixth annual Teesdale Business Awards

Nominations for the sixth annual Teesdale Business Awards are now open.
The aim is to celebrate all that is good in Teesdale businesses and community groups.
The work of individuals as well as the collective efforts of organisations is being celebrated by this event, organised by Enterprise House, in Barnard Castle.
Organiser Peter Dixon said: “The success of the awards has grown year on year. Enterprise House is delighted to continue to organise the awards which will culminate with a ceremony in mid-February next year.
“A new award this year recognises the work of the best employer.
:This gives the opportunity for employees, or indeed volunteers, of a company to nominate the organisation for which they work.”
The 12 award categories are intended to give any Teesdale businesses or social enterprises the opportunity to be nominated by others or apply themselves.
All awards are independent of any particular industry sector. Organisations and individuals can be nominated at www.teesdalebusinesawards.co.uk/
Nominations close at noon on Monday, November 21.
Award categories are: Best business, best new business, growth business of the year, most innovative business, best business trading outside Teesdale, best social enterprise, best community engagement project, evironmental achievement, best customer focus, best employer of the year, young entrepreneur of the year and apprentice of the year.
