Children shine with school performance

CHILDREN from Montalbo Primary School put on a play to celebrate the end of the school year.

Organised by key stage two pupils, the performance was called Superstan. Year five and six teacher Jessica Richardson said the children had worked incredibly hard to stage a fantastic performance.

Oscar Grey played the main character Superstan, while the comedy double act was played by Kelci and Kate. The children rehearsed for about five weeks ahead of their main performance.

Miss Richardson said: “We are very proud of all of the children. They have finished a fantastic year in style.”

Year three and four teacher Dr Felicity Greenwell added: “Children have really developed their confidence. Superstan is a great chance for them to shine.”
