Community groups showcase how they spent Teesdale Action Partnership cash

COMMUNITY groups have been showing how they have put funding to good use.

A wide range of organisations took part in a forum hosted by Teesdale Action Partnership (TAP) to showcase the work they do in the dale.

The forum was held at UTASS (Upper Teesdale Agricultural Support Services) offices in Middleton-in-Teesdale ahead of TAP's regular board meeting.

Projects on display ranged from Trees for Teesdale which has an extensive tree planting programme to Middleton-in-Bloom, which went on to win gold at the Northumbria-in-Bloom environmental competition this year.

Most of the groups with displays had benefitted from cash grants given by TAP, while others used the opportunity to highlight their cause.
