History comes alive at Montalbo school

PUPILS at Barnard Castle primary school were treated to a living history lesson.
Experts from South Durham Model Engineers visited Montalbo Primary School, bringing with them a range a mechanical engines to show the whole school. 
Pupils learnt about the power of steam and how it has been used throughout history. 
They were then treated to a demonstration outside with an engine running where the children saw the power of steam in action.
