Teesdale schools celebrate Easter in traditional fashion

EXTRAORDINARY egg creations marked an Easter tradition at a dale school.
Egg Sheeran, egg emojis and an egg skate park were just some of the sculptures to take the eye at Cockfield Primary School.
The hard boiled offerings were judged in each year by school caretaker David Blackett.
Meanwhile, children at Ingleton Primary School got colourful and creative to celebrate the arrival of spring and Easter.
The pupils used their skills to make Easter bonnets and decorated egg dioramas. Some of the creative displays included Egg Sheeran, an Easter farm and a group of egg explorers.
Headteacher Judith Pressley said part of the school’s Easter celebration include a service at the village church, after which the congregation and people from the village were invited back to the school for hot cross buns and tea.
