STAINDROP Academy honoured its top performing pupils during an awards evening.
Guest speaker on the night was former Teesdale Mercury editor Jim McTaggart who also handed over the awards on November 24.
The academy’s GCSE quintet of Bronwyn Davies, Isobel Foster, Gabriella Wray, Angelina Hogarth and Joseph Rutherford also performed carols on the night. Key stage four awards included:
