Following the success of last year’s event, Christmas@The Hub is returning to Barnard Castle.
Everyone is invited to come along to the centre, at Shaw Bank, on Saturday, December 10.
Children and their families can meet Santa in his grotto, and receive a gift to take home for Christmas day.
Alongside Father Christmas, there will be seasonal stalls for last minute gifts, a bouncy castle to keep little ones busy and gorgeous festive food served from The Hub Kitchen.
Visitors will also be entertained by the Scherzo Community Choir who will be singing carols twice throughout the day.
Entry to the centre is free for everyone, with a £5 charge for children to meet Santa and his elves in the Grotto.
Meanwhile, from December 1, Christmas trees will be available to buy from The Hub.
Opening times for tree sales are Monday to Friday, 3pm-8pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm.
Finally, The Big Xmas Bash will take place on the evening of December 10.
The gig has been arranged by young people working on The Big Music Project, a Big Lottery funded initiative administered by UK Youth.
Working with staff from The Hub they have put together a fantastic event featuring local bands and artists such as The Banned, Bone Shaker and Luke Jordan. The gig will also feature up and coming bands from TCR Studio and local area, including Toxic Avengers, Upbeat and Broken Solitude. Tickets are £6 for 16+ and £4 concs from The Hub's reception desk.
